linsonphotos > A Comrade In Arms - Known But To God - Today is 11 September 2009, Patriots day. Eight years ago the World Trade Center in New York was destroyed by terrorists that wanted to take away the freedoms and liberties that the men and women on D-Day in Normandy France fought so gallently to preserve for us.

This photo is dedicated to those who were lost on 9 September 2001, those who were never found.
linsonphotos > A Comrade in Arms - Known but to God.

Last week my German wife and I visited the American WWII Cemetary in Colleville France above Omaha Beach. As an American born 15 years and one month before D-Day i was deeply touched by being in the presence of all these crosses.

As I stood in the middle of this sacred plot of land and thought about all the men and women, American Heroes, who fought and died 1000's of miles from their homes in the USA, I was humbled as I have never been humbled before.

I have no way of thanking these men and women for fighting, and sacrificing their lives to preserve freedom for not just the USA, but all of the free world.
